Testing Engineer

About the job:

We are looking for a Testing Engineer to join our Testing team in our HQ located in Castelfranco Veneto.

 

Accountability and Objectives:

• Support the R&D Robotics Operations Coordinator in the preparation and definition of testing activities
• Test execution according with STIGA R&D Procedures or Instructions.
• Identification and contribution to solving the Quality issues referred to the assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and document rigorous testing protocols using specialized checklists to ensure total compliance with quality standards.
• Manage the assembly and maintenance of robotic prototypes, applying mechanical and electronic manual skills to support iterative development.
• Identify and analyze technical anomalies during testing phases, providing actionable feedback to engineering teams to facilitate rapid resolution.
• Manage and conduct field tests at external proving grounds, requiring the ability to operate independently.
• Perform hardware validation tests on electronic components (e.g., power supplies, motherboards) using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data loggers.

Skills & qualifications:

• Qualifications: Technical School or University degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience in testing of mechanical products is highly appreciated.
• Knowledge: Basic knowledge of testing techniques and data acquisition tools, understanding of basic technical drawings.
• Electronics Experience: Proven experience in testing mechatronic or electronic products (not limited to mechanical components).
• Language: Professional working proficiency in Italian and English.
