The STIGA Group history

The STIGA Group was founded in 2000 under the name Global Garden Products (GGP). In 2017, GGP became The STIGA Group to enhance the premium brand and better reflect the Group’s focus on innovation.

But our history dates beyond 2000. ATCO, one of our brands, has been providing premium lawnmowers since 1921, while Mountfield established itself within the lawn care industry in 1962. Through our brands, the Group combines over 90 years’ experience and, working together, the Group continues to design cutting-edge tools for gardens across the world.
