About the job:
We are looking for a brilliant student/newly graduated to join our Process Improvement & ESG Team for a six months internship in our HQ located in Castelfranco Veneto!
As a Junior RPA Specialist Intern, you will act as a bridge between our team and our external RPA consultants. You will shadow the consultants learning enterprise-level best practices, and design and build automations that will support our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Closely study the complex workflows built by our external consultants. Analyze their code, understand their architecture, and learn industry best practices for bot deployment.
- Independently design, build, and test small-to-medium automations using Microsoft Power Automate to solve immediate business bottlenecks.
- Write clean Python scripts to support automation workflows, handle data extraction, or manage API calls.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify repetitive tasks that are prime candidates for automation projects.
- Act as the first line of internal support to monitor running bots, identify basic errors, and escalate complex issues to the external consultants.
- Draft and maintain comprehensive documentation for every automation project, including Process Design Documents and Solution Design Documents, to ensure clear logic mapping, easy maintainability, and a seamless knowledge hand-over.
- Monitor automation schedules to ensure timely execution and optimize the occupancy of digital resources, including Virtual Machines, service accounts, and licenses, identifying bottlenecks and ensuring maximum efficiency of the RPA infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated in Computer Science, ICT, Engineering, or a related field.
- RPA Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate (academic projects, trial versions, or self-taught experience are positively valued).
- Programming Skills: Fluent and comfortable programming in Python. You know how to write scripts, manipulate data, and debug code.
- Language: Professional proficiency in English, spoken and written, to read technical documentation and communicate effectively with our external partners.
- Mindset: Be a true self-starter, be proactive and comfortable working independently.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Understanding of how APIs work (REST/SOAP).
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with reading and understanding code written by others.
