About the Job:

We are looking for a results-driven Professional Business Developer to lead the expansion of our professional sales network across France. This role is key to securing strategic partnerships, engaging high-value target accounts, and growing a robust dealer network—particularly focused on our autonomous and high-end product ranges.

The Professional Business Developer will be primarily mobilized in the design and implementation of a commercial strategy with the aim of strengthening the brand’s presence on priority professional customer targets (Sport & Golf, Landscapers, Municipalities, Hospitality, Solar Farms, Castles, etc.).
In this context, the Professional Business Developer will ensure a 365 degree approach towards the Professional Dealer network, including the recruitment, monitoring, support and development of a network of engaged Professional Dealers.
The ideal candidate will be based in the Paris Region or another major city such as Lille, Lyon, Rennes, or Bordeaux, and should be prepared to travel for business up to 80% of the time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead Strategy Execution: Develop and implement the professional sales strategy aligned with company goals, focusing on autonomous and high-end robotic products.
  • Build a National Sales Network: Establish and grow a strong professional dealer network to support long-term, scalable market presence.
  • Drive Business Growth: Identify and secure key business deals, engage high-potential accounts, and expand into priority sectors like agriculture, landscaping, hospitality, and public services.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Gather and analyze customer insights to inform product development, market positioning, and sales strategies.
  • Dealer Network Management: Recruit, train, and support a high-performing Pro Dealer network. Ensure correct intake of pre-season orders and optimal stock levels for professional products, including showrooms and demo units.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with local sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of the professional strategy.
  • Sales Enablement: Equip internal and dealer sales teams with the training, coaching, tools, and support needed to effectively engage professional customers (e.g. demos, quotes, events).
  • Data-Driven Performance: Maintain accurate CRM records, monitor dealer activities, and analyze results to define actions that drive growth in target segments.
  • Act consistently with the company’s culture, values, and operational standards.

Skills & qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Successfully completed business or technical training with additional business management qualification
  • Minimum 10 years of successful sales experience in the branded goods environment, ideally in the agricultural, construction machinery, gardening or municipal technology industry
  • High customer orientation, argumentation and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Confident handling of MS Office, Google Calendar and Mail as well as CRM Salesforce
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while traveling extensively

LANGUAGES:

  • French mother tongue;
  • Fluency in English is needed,
  • An additional language is a plus.

MINDSET AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

  • Capability in dealing with complexity in a multinational environment is needed;
  • Capability to promote team-working and collaboration among the different functions both at local and Group level is highly recommended;
  • An attitude to measure performances by KPIs is highly recommended;
  • An “hands-on” approach together with a high commitment in respecting working deadlines are highly appreciated;
  • A good understanding of main company processes is appreciated;
  • Business judgment and curiosity are required;
  • Good communication skills with all levels of the organization are required.
